Porn Base Central is a free-access, free-content Internet gay porn encyclopedia, as a means to that end, an online community of individuals interested in building and using a high-quality gay porn encyclopedia in a spirit of mutual respect. Therefore, there are certain things that Porn Base Central is not.
Our community exists for one purpose: writing a free, neutral, well-sourced gay porn encyclopedia. Anyone who shares this goal is invited to join. However, editing is a privilege, not a right. It may be revoked by blocking, banning or otherwise restricting people who damage or disrupt Porn Base Central.

- Article titles
- The ideal title for a PBC article is recognizable to English speakers, easy to find, precise, concise, and consistent with other titles.
- Biographies of living persons
- Articles about living persons, which require a degree of sensitivity, must adhere strictly to PBC's content policies. Be very firm about high-quality references, particularly about details of personal lives. Contentious material that is unsourced or poorly sourced should be removed immediately.
- Image policy
- All images that are placed in an article should be clear enough to show what they are trying to illustrate. PBC is not a repository for files, it stores files that are used on PBC, and should only store files used on PBC.
- Neutral point of view
- Everything that our readers can see, including articles, templates, categories and portals, must be written neutrally and without bias. In some cases, for persons, websites, companies, or other entities that this encyclopedia describes, the neutrality policy may be limited or canceled by the PBC's administrative committee.
- No original research
- Articles may not contain any unconfirmed theories, data, statements, concepts, arguments, or ideas; or any new interpretation, analysis, or synthesis of published data, statements, concepts, arguments, or ideas.
- Verifiability
- Articles should cite sources whenever possible. While we cannot check the accuracy of cited sources, we can check whether they have been published by a reputable publication and whether independent sources have supported them on review. Any unsourced material may be challenged and removed. The PBC Verification Committee is responsible for verifying sources.
- What PBC is not
- PBC is an online gay porn encyclopedia. Please avoid the temptation to use PBC for other purposes. PBC discourages the publication of non-gay content in articles, it is completely unacceptable and should be removed immediately. However, in some cases, exceptions to this rule are allowed, procedure as determined by decisions of the PBC Administrative Committee.
